Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation Product Review

Today I’m going to share my thoughts about the Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation. I will also be sharing my simple morning makeup routine so stick around!

Finally here is the 3rd installment on my Morning Makeup Routine (see part 1 and part 2). You know that saying one (wo)man’s trash is another (wo)man’s treasure? That’s exactly my sentiment on this Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation in 01 Soft Beige! My sister bought this but ended up not matching her skin tone, soooo hello baby! Luckily it is a good match on me. As well as that new Maybelline foundation she recently bought, but let’s save that for another post. Haha God bless my generous sister! 😛

Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation Product Review

Now going back to the Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation, what piqued my interest was the “hydrating” part. I sure am not the dry skin type of gal, so I initially did not know what to do with this or what exactly it means when they say it’s a hydrating powder foundation.

Upon application though, I find it lightweight and not cakey at all! Feels like second-skin actually (see last photo set above – leftmost without powder, rightmost with powder applied). Coverage-wise, this does not offer much, which I think is always a trade-off if it’s a lightweight powder.

So better cover up with liquid foundation or concealer first to hide blemishes, discoloration and the likes. Staying power is up to 4 hours before oil comes creeping back into my life err, face.

It contains Japanese tea extract that claims to soothe redness and is infused with SPF 20 PA++. But if you ask me, this sure does not come cheap at Php 1,299 for a local brand! Have you tried this? Your thoughts?

PRICE: Php 1,299.00
WHERE TO BUY: Beauty Bar (actual stores or online), Plains & Prints branches, Rustan’s Department Store (Makati and Shangri-la Plaza Mall)
