What Does Your Lipstick Shape Say About You?
Apparently a lot can be told about someone’s personality just by looking at the shape of their lipsticks! Just for fun I took this lipstick personality quiz (thanks Anne for sharing).
Most of my lipsticks have “the slant close to original tip shape,” like this Dior lipstick of mine.

And here’s what it says about me…

COOL BEANS! I have to agree as most of these are true about me! Try it out too, ladies! And tell me what you got! *Click here*
Looking Back…
Wow, 5 months had already passed by since that fateful day I decided to enroll with SureSlim! And it felt just like yesterday I was struggling on how to lose weight! But look at me now, 5 months later and still shedding off some pounds! Huurraaay! :)

But you know what… more importantly, it’s not what I lost, but everything I gained. Not just my self-confidence but that feeling that I’m in control of myself again. That I’m in charge of my own self. It takes a whole lot of self-discipline and determination because losing weight DOES NOT happen overnight. More than just an eating plan, this is a lifestyle change I’m committed to. As cliche as this may sound, I now have a different outlook in life. I’m now more conscious of what I eat (though of course, cheat days are unavoidable) because I only get to be young once, so I want to enjoy life as healthy as possible. When you’re THIS CLOSE to being overweight, you’ll understand me.
UPDATES: I’m now on my 2nd month of the lifestyle/maintenance program after reaching my goal weight. Last time I checked (last week) I’m down to around 52.27kg /115lbs. I also now do weights at home whenever I have the time to tone my muscles.

Curly Wannabe
My hair must be the MOST abused part of me. I tried hair relax, rebonding, hair color; except digiperm/perm cos I usually just curl my hair myself using hair iron. Last weekend, I saw this promo in the salon I frequent — Haircut and COLD WAVE for only Php 999.00. For a super kuripot like me, that ain’t a bad deal, right? So, from just a simple planned haircut (no actually, I was just there to accompany my mom… that was the original plan), I walked out of the salon with curly hair! What is biglaan? haha! They used L’Oréal Cold Wave treatment, and the whole process only took around 2 hours. No heat required! Whew, my hair could finally breathe from all the blow dry and hair iron I subjected to it for the past few months.
But meh, I was hoping for the result to be something close to the character of Carrie (from the TV series The Carrie Diaries).

But I guess I can’t sport this ‘do! Or maybe I’m not used to it yet? I prefer the big, soft waves I normally achieve using hair iron. Oh well…

Lesson learned: think twice, thrice before doing something revolutionary to your hair. Will share photos next time!
How about you? What are your hair woes? Share ‘em! Let us all feel bad together, lols! :P
