#MyrtleForLolita Fragrance Launch

I was fortunate to be one of those people among the media press and bloggers invited for the unveiling of the newest fragrance line of Kojie San called Lolita last Thursday night. There was actually two other events/launch that I got invited to, same date and about the same time, but I had said yes to this first (If only I can divide myself, I would, to be able to attend all social functions). But I’m so glad I enjoyed this one and got to bond with fellow bloggers as well! :)

The whole venue was sooo cute! Balloons and dollhouse and cutesy little pieces were all over the place! Felt like we were going to play or something!

A dance production for the opening number. Catchy tune of What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction was their background music! LSS na naman tuloy ako haha!

There was also a mini fashion show participated by some fashion bloggers in attendance. L-R: Rovie, Bianca, Carizza, and Arnie. I wasn’t able to take photos of the others!

And then finally, their endorser was unveiled… none other than Myrtle Sarrosa. She was wearing a cosplay attire (with wig and all that) at first, but then magically transformed into this cute red dress in a snap! See video here taken by Orange Magazine TV so you’ll get me! :P

Myrtle is actually such a darling! She was gamely posing for the camera, and tirelessly smiling and entertaining everyone. Honestly, I don’t watch PBB Teens, where she was proclaimed the BIG WINNER. But I do hear her name and she trends on Twitter almost every night when the reality show was still airing. Now I don’t understand why such a pretty girl have so many bashers and haters?

Anyway, the program continued with a Q&A with the press. In the photo above, Myrtle was joined by host Janina Chan and Paul, the PR Guy. Everyone was curious why Myrtle was chosen as the endorser (and btw, this is the first ever product she’ll endorse!). We found out that the CEO of BEVi (makers of Kojie San) was fond of watching PBB Teens because of Myrtle and he really has in mind this teenage girl to be the face of his new Japanese-inspired fragrance line once she comes out of the PBB house. Myrtle, known to be a cosplayer, is also a perfect fit for the brand because she is the true embodiment of the Lolita girl. And did you know that #MyrtleForLolita trended on Twitter on the night of the launch? That’s how strong her influence and many her followers are!

Obviously, these new cologne sprays are targeted for the young teenage girls. When asked what her fave scent among the 6 variants, Myrtle was quick to say it’s Cospink — sweet floral smell (she admits she’s a girly girl, and it shows with her scent choice!). Anyway, here are the six variants which I’m sure you’re all interested to find out!

Cali - The CALI girl is fun and adventurous, always taking risks and daring to be different. Yet deep down, she is also a true girly-girl with a love for alluring floral scents that bring out her audacious feminine side.

Chick - CHICK starts off with a delicately sweet whiff and settles into a warm scent reminiscent of rich, velvety baby powder. Just a few sprays and you’ll have delectably lasting fragrance for hours.

Cospink - A romantic fragrance all around, COSPINK will surely captivate your heart. Its dreamy blend of floral notes is part sweet, part flirty – and completely girly. A true pinkaholic’s dream!

Fairy - Looking for the sweetest fruity scent to top off your look? FAIRY takes you to the next level with its sugary scent sure to leave people whiffing for more. Simply delicious!

Fantasy - This fresh and airy fragrance will leave you daydreaming about an endless summer filled with beach adventures and cool breezes. FANTASY’s light citrus notes simply make for the best tropical scent!

Rouge -  For the playful, outgoing girl – ROUGE is your perfect scent. Paint the town red in this classic flirty fragrance that will surely make a lasting impression.

So, have you chosen your favorite yet? I personally like Fantasy because of its fresh scent! Gusto ko kasi yung laging bagong ligo lang and this one best suits me haha! :) After the program, kodakan moments with blogger friends! Photo bombs away in 3, 2, 1…
